Sept 18, Colombo: Sri Lanka will hold this year’s Cyber Security Week (CSW) in the third week of October, the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) announced.
Cyber Security Week 2011 program features, a one-day conference on October 19 and two technical workshops on October 20 and 21. The conference and the two workshops are to be held at the Cinnamon Lake Side Hotel in Colombo.
The fourth Annual National Conference on Cyber Security will provide updates on security developments, trends and technologies and the technical workshops.
The CSW is held each year with the aim of educating local industrialists. The once day conference will conclude with a gala dinner.
The first workshop will be held on October 20 under the theme of “Virtualization, Cloud Computing and the Next Generation of Enterprises Architecture” and the second workshop is held under the theme “Know your Enemy by Tracking Botnets” on October 21.
