Former Sri Lanka Army Commander Fonseka’s private secretary seeks court permission to meet him

May 03, Colombo: Captain Senaka Silva, the private secretary of Sri Lanka’s former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka, has requested court permission to meet with Fonseka.

Silva’s lawyers have reportedly requested the Colombo High Court for him to meet with Fonseka to discuss issues related to his political activities as Silva is Fonseka’s secretary.

The state counsel had objected to the request stating the High Court could not grant permission as Silva was granted bail by the Appeal Court.

Colombo High Court judge Deepali Wijesundera has asked the request to be made from the Appeal Court.
