Mobile service in Northern Province of Sri Lanka to issue necessary documents for war affected people

July 08, Colombo: Sri Lanka government has planned to hold a special mobile service of administration in Jaffna and Kilinochchi districts of the Northern Province on July 13 and 14 respectively, government sources say.

War affected public of the Northern Province can obtain information regarding whereabouts of their spouse, family members and relatives, sources say.

The service will also assist the public to obtain birth, death and marriage certificates, and also police clearance certificates.

Re-issuance of birth certificates for children born outside of Sri Lanka will also take place at this service to cater the needs of the repatriated citizens.
