Opposition Leader calls on all opposition parties of Sri Lanka to unite against the government

Nov 25, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s Opposition and United National Party (UNP) Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe calls on every one to cast aside party or any other differences and unite in the campaign against the government.

Wickremasinghe has said that the UNP has initiated a campaign to fight against the undemocratic administration.

He has explained that the main opposition wants to build a movement to campaign for the release of imprisoned former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka, demand relief for the people, safeguard the rights of the Sinhala businessmen, and to stop the government from treading a dictatorial and undemocratic path.

The Opposition Leader has noted that everyone should therefore unite to fight against the government.
