President underscores the need for streamlined training for Sri Lankan graduates

July 08, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa has underscored the need to provide streamlined training to the graduates who are to be recruited to the Public Service and to those who are already in the service.

President Rajapaksa has made this observation during a meeting with the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Graduates Association at Temple Trees Friday (08).


The Association handed over a report containing proposals of the Association to be considered for inclusion in the minutes of the Graduates Service to be formulated in future to the President.

The Association has appreciated the President’s decision to recruit another 15,000 graduates to the Public Service.

Cabinet Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga were also present at the occasion.
