The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce said there will be a ‘Sri Lanka – Vietnam Business Forum’ followed by a business matchmaking session on October 14.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) formed a Sri Lanka – Vietnam Business Council last year to promote two-way trade and investment.
“…[W]e anticipate positive results soon after the visit,” president of the Sri Lanka – Vietnam Business Council, Anton Godfrey, said in a statement.
“We trust that there are lot of synergies between our two countries and this is the right time for us to match business partners of both countries at one location.”
The visiting Vietnam delegation is interested in joint ventures in deep sea fishing, processing inland fishery, agriculture and making agri-equipment, hotels, apartments, housing projects, establishment of a Vietnamese Restaurant in Colombo and telecoms.
