Apr 13, Colombo: A group of representatives from the Sri Lankan government and the major Tamil constituent Tamil National Alliance (TNA) are to go for an observation tour in Northern Province to inspect the process of rehabilitation of the Tamil youth arrested for subversive activities.
The observation tour is scheduled on April 16 just after the celebrations of Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
The government is to be represented by MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardhana and another minister whose name is yet to be announced.
TNA will be represented by MPs Suresh Premachandran and M.A. Sumanthiran.
The joint observation tour is a result of the round of talks between the government and the TNA held on April 07, TNA said.
