May 28, Colombo: Sri Lanka Ministry of Finance and Plan Implementation says that a booklet will be distributed among the public to inform them of the private sector pension scheme.

The book has now been compiled, government sources say. It will explain to public in simple language the content of the proposed act, the pension scheme, and its implementation method.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Plan Implementation P.B. Jayasundara says that the booklet will be distributed among the public free of charge.

The government is in a propaganda battle with the private sector trade unions who are protesting the pension scheme.
