Sri Lanka President meets the family of diseased Katunayake Free Trade Zone Employee

June 10, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at Temple Trees met the family members of the Katunayake Free Trade Zone employee who was killed recently during a clash between the police and protesting FTZ workers.

President Rajapaksa expressed his profound condolences as well as the government’s, to the parents, family members, and relatives of Roshen Chanaka Pathmasekera.


The President during their meeting has agreed to provide the necessary assistance to the family in their future activities. Yatiyana Mission Priest Rev. Fr. Christopher Madurawela also accompanied the family of Roshen Chanaka. Secretary to the President Lalith Weerathunge was also present.
