Sri Lanka takes on New Zealand in the first semi-final of World Cup

Mar 29, Colombo: Sri Lanka battles New Zealand for a berth in the ICC World Cup Final today in the first semi-final match at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Sri Lanka may play three spinners in the worn out pitch that was used for the quarter-final between Sri Lanka and England. The Sri Lankans are likely to bring Nuwan Kulasekara who did not play against England for today’s match.

Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 112 runs in the pre-knockout round at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai India.
