Sri Lankan government announces raising fuel and LP gas prices

Apr 02, Colombo: The Sri Lankan government has announced the increase in the prices of fuel and LP gas from today.

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has said that a liter of 90 Octane Petrol will be increased by Rs.10 while a liter of Auto Diesel will be increased by Rs.3.

The price of a liter of Kerosene will be increased by Rs. 10.

Following the price revision, the new price of a liter of 90 Octane Petrol is Rs. 125, Auto Diesel Rs. 76 and Kerosene Rs. 61.

Meanwhile, the price of 12.5 kg cylinder of Litro gas has been increased by Rs.238 and a Laugfs gas cylinder by Rs. 10.

The Internal Trade Ministry has said the prices have been revised due to the increase in price of petroleum in the world market.
