After winning the toss and batting first, India set a moderate target of 261 for Pakistan to chase in the second semi-final of the ICC World Cup today at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali, India. Wahab Riaz took five wickets for Pakistan to limit India.
Pakistan’s openers Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Hafeez began brightly to chase the goal but India’s bowlers fought back to limit Pakistan to 231 with one ball left.
