Public servants of Sri Lanka pledge for efficient and productive service

Jan 02, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s public servants on Monday, the first work day of the New Year pledged to perform an efficient and productive service at a special ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of the Secretary to the President, Lalith Weeratunga.

Following the pledge, religious leaders of all faiths performed religious rites to bless the staff. Pictured here is the President’s staff taking the pledge along with the Secretary to the President.
